What inspired you to become a Therapist?
I’ve always found myself drawn to understand people’s stories and relationships—to place myself deep within their experience and use my curiosity and creativity to grasp what drives them and unpack parts that might feel stagnant or stale. After years of working in the arts supporting other artists and young people, I decided to pursue a degree in clinical psychology and expand my skill set so I might have a greater impact in the lives of those I’m lucky enough to call my clients. Who do you like working with? As a couples therapist and relationship expert, I am particularly passionate about helping couples navigate a variety of challenges, including the transition from couplehood to parenthood. My background in the arts inspires me to support creatives struggling to balance life and work. I also enjoy using my experience as an LA native to inform my work with young people navigating big life transitions. What can someone expect from therapy with you? I employ a non-dogmatic approach to therapy, pulling from my toolbox to meet the client where they are. You can expect an accepting and open stance, honoring the weight of whatever you are bringing into the room, while also encouraging a sense of humor and play. Education:
